GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Responsible for contributing to company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels that support the manufacturing and shipping of our products to exceed our customer’s expectations.

The position is Full Time, Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm, starting wage $17/hour.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
• Create systems, process and procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained in the raw materials, WIP, consignment and finished goods warehouse.
• Thorough understanding of internal processes that support the handling of all inventory movement activities from receipt, usage, output, shipping of inventory, reworks, samples and returns; create new or improve existing systems to control inventory
• Collaborate with all areas within the company to perform cycle and physical inventory counts
• Perform inventory investigations to understand shrinkage and surplus, report discrepancies, perform adjustments and implement solutions to reduce these issues within inventory
• Review and analyze reports that identify system and people errors that affect the integrity of the inventory reporting systems; suggest and implement solutions to reduce and eliminate errors.
• Support department supervisors to improve the setup or location of materials for efficient material storage and handling
• Understanding of NAV, it’s basic functions related to production activity with advanced usage and troubleshooting related to production activity, inventory control, basic accounting, warehouse management and eship.
• Review, modify and create work instructions within the system to clearly define procedure and processes to monitor and control activities that affect inventory
• Ensure all functions contribute to the overall success of the organization delivering on the strategic, tactical and financial responsibilities.
• Invest in personal growth through KASH opportunities frequently gaining company and industry knowledge to support continuous improvement.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers by resolving problems, identifying trends, providing consistent feedback and communicating proactively.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/REQUIRED LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Completed a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Technical or Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field equivalent and/or 2-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Significant use of Microsoft Office; SharePoint and Navision systems desired.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, emails, SOP’s and other materials required. Ability to write legible correspondence. Ability to effectively present information verbally to other employees of the organization. Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, and multiply applying statistical mathematical concepts when needed.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
